The design is innovative as it is one of the first NBA jerseys to utilize detailing on the area around the sleeve hole. The design also followed the trend of displaying a logo or graphic element on the back, above the name.

Dirk Nowitzki won his MVP in this jersey and the Dallas Mavericks have found a great deal of playoff success in this as well. So I'm inclined to think that they won't be changing jerseys soon,
